Monte cristos

This sandwich is usually largely popular after Thanksgiving because of the leftover ingredients that could be easily used to make this delicious sandwich meal. Nevertheless, if you are craving for some monte cristos, you need not wait once a year to make it since it’s so easy to make.

This recipe makes 4 good servings and will only take 25 minutes of your time.

Ingredients needed:

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 slices challah bread (about 1 inch thick)
  • 6 ounces sliced Muenster cheese
  • 12 ounces thinly sliced cooked turkey breast
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2/3 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce or relish
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

California club sandwich

Sandwiches are great finger foods when cut into small slices for easy eating on busy days. Otherwise, just sit back, relax and bite into that satisfying and healthy sandwich which you can very quickly put together for your family for a weekend brunch. It’ll also be great as a tea time snack too. Yet another great lunchbox meal for the kids also.

This recipe serves up to 4 and will only take your about 20 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients needed:

  • 8 ounce tub cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 6.5 ounce jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped pitted ripe olives, pitted green olives, or Greek black olives
  • 16 ounce loaf crusty French bread
  • 2 cups loosely packed fresh spinach leaves, stems removed
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces thinly sliced cooked turkey breast
  • 4 slices bacon, crisp-cooked, drained and crumbled (optional; if you want to make this a halal meal then leave the bacon out)
  • 1/4 cup roasted and salted sunflower seeds
