Ingredients needed:

  • 4 slices of 6 ounce fresh of frozen tuna fillets, about 3/4 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

Cooking method:

  1. If the fish is frozen, thaw it. Rinse it and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large pan, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the tuna and cook for about 8 minutes, or until the tuna flakes easily when tested with a fork (it can be slightly pink in the center). Turn the fish over once.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, stir together the hoisin sauce and orange juice. Let it heat through.
  5. Remove the fish to serving plates and drizzle the sauce over it.
  6. Sprinkle the fish with sesame seeds.
