Here’s an interesting yet easy way to serve pork slices, with apples! It helps to cover up the taste or smell or pork that some people may not enjoy. It’s also rather refreshing to cook with fruits and some herbs.

Easy peasy to make, this pork slices with apples recipe will only take a good 15 minutes to cook and will serve 4 hungry stomachs. Check it out!

Ingredients needed:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (2 cloves)
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut crosswise into 1/2 inch slices
  • 20 ounce can or fresh sliced apples, drained if canned
  • 2 teaspoons snipped fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed

Cooking method:

  1. In a large pan, heat the oil or butter over medium-high heat.
  2. Add in the garlic and cook for 15 seconds.
  3. Place the pork slices into the hot oil and cook for 4 minutes, or until browned and juices run clear, turning over once.
  4. Add the drained apple slices and thyme. Cover and cook for 1 minute, or until the apples are heated through.

    Really?! Oh dear, and I thought the 4 cooking steps were easy enough…haha! Hmm…the next time I cook this recipe, I’ll consider taking a video but I guess not anytime in the near future just yet.
