This easy to make chicken sandwich recipe will serve 4 and takes 20 minutes.

Ingredients needed:

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons snipped fresh thyme, crushed or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
  • 1 small red onion, halved and thinly sliced
  • 12 ounces thinly sliced cooked chicken, halved crosswise
  • 4 croissants, halved horizontally and toasted

Cooking method:

  1. In a medium pan, combine the honey and thyme, and stir in the red onion.
  2. Cook and stir over medium-low heat just until hot (do not boil).
  3. Stir in the chicken and let it heat through.
  4. Arrange the chicken mixture in the halved croissants and serve warm.
