Fruit brulee

Make a lasting impression on your family and friends with this delicious fresh fruit yogurt brulee. It’s quick to make and serves up as a warm and lovely dessert to satisfy that sweet craving!

Ingredients needed:

  • 6 cups fresh fruit (sliced strawberries, bananas, mangos, papayas, apricots, peaches, pears or pineapple)
  • 8 ounch vanilla low fat yogurt
  • 1/2 cut ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Cooking method:

  1. Divide the fruits into four 12-ounce to 16-ounce au gratin dishes. Place these dishes in a 15×10x1 inch baking pan.
  2. In a small bowl, stir the yogurt and ricotta cheese together.
  3. Spoon the yogurt mixture over the fruits.
  4. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar on the top.
  5. Baken in a 230 degree Celcius (450 degree Fahrenheit) oven for 7 to 8 minutes, or until the brown sugar is melted.
  6. Serve warm.
